Early access
Get a read before you recruit a single real user.
Submit a mental health app, in any state, live, in testing, or still a mockup, and get back a structured friction/enabler read and a calibrated abandonment-risk prediction. Free while this is in early access. See how it works for the methodology behind it.
What counts as a submission
Minimum
Description only
A written description of the app: pricing, onboarding, notifications, core features. No screenshots needed, this works even for an idea that hasn't been designed yet. The report will say plainly which scores are self-reported rather than verified.
Better
Description plus screens
Add up to 8 screens, onboarding, paywall, notifications settings, main navigation, whether they're from a live app, a TestFlight build, or exported design frames. Screens are scored as verified evidence, producing a higher-confidence report.
Coming later
Full consultation
A deeper tier adding a screen-recorded walkthrough and a personal review is planned but not yet open. If that's what you need now, get in touch directly.
Submit an app
Tell it about your app.
Every submission is read fresh, nothing is shared across submitters, and nothing you submit is used for anything beyond generating your report.
What this free read does not cover
An honest boundary.
This tool gives you a partial, self-reported read. It is genuinely useful as a first pass, and it is not an audit. Here is exactly where the line falls.
- It scores what you tell it. A Friction Audit scores what is actually in the build, which is frequently not the same thing.
- It does not estimate your trajectory mix. Separating users who left because it worked from users who left because it didn't is the finding that changes a retention strategy, and it needs the full instrument.
- It does not prioritize. You get signal, not a ranked fix list with impact weighed against implementation cost.
- It carries no evidence trail. Nothing here is auditable by a board, a funder, or a reviewer.
Full audits start at $6,500 and take three weeks.
